NOVEMBER CELEBRATIONS

Birthdays, Wedding & Rotary Anniversaries

November brings another opportunity to celebrate the Kampala North family.

This month we recognise 5 member birthdays, 6 spouse birthdays, 3 wedding anniversaries and 11 Rotary membership anniversaries.

Discover who is celebrating, including a special 25-year Rotary membership milestone.

WORLD INTERACT WEEK 2026

2–8 November 2026
Celebrating Young Leaders — And Reflecting on Our Own Responsibility

As Rotary celebrates 64 years of Interact, Uganda's young leaders continue to demonstrate the power of service and leadership.

For the Rotary Club of Kampala North, however, this year's celebration also invites some honest reflection. Our Club once sponsored four Interact Clubs, but those relationships were not sustained.

As we celebrate World Interact Week, perhaps the most important question is not how many Interact Clubs we have sponsored, but how well we have supported them.

AT FELLOWSHIP THIS MONDAY

Club Assembly • 2 November 2026
Club Assembly: Three Matters for Decision

Today is the first Monday of November and, as is our Club's practice, our fellowship will take the form of a Club Assembly.

The Executive Secretary has circulated the agenda and Club Assembly Paper, setting out matters for members' information and consideration. Among them, three matters will come before the Assembly for a decision:

  1. First Quarter Financial Report

  2. Revised Financial Management and Procurement Manual

  3. Proposed agreement with Protea Hotel Kampala

Read the overview and supporting papers before the Assembly.
